Qonto Puts Numbers at the Heart of Entrepreneurship in its new Europe-Wide Campaign by Steve
Apr. 20, 2026
Qonto, Europe's leading fi nancial management solution for SMEs and freelancers, today launches its most ambitious brand campaign to date: “Own your numbers.” Rolling out across Europe, this campaign marks a key milestone in the fi ntech's brand strategy. It establishes a simple truth: mastering your business numbers is a decision-making and growth lever for SMEs far more than an added-on administrative task.
Through its "Own your numbers" campaign concept, Qonto repositions fi nancial management as an indispensable tool at the heart of entrepreneurs' daily lives.
Qonto challenges the romantic myth of entrepreneurship, positioning fi nancial control as the key to independence
Entrepreneurship is often portrayed as being all about passion or intuition. In reality, it's shaped by daily fi nancial decisions around cash fl ow, payment terms, and investments. Qonto's position is clear: the ability to read and manage your numbers directly determines your ability to make decisions, sustain your business long-term, and grow into the future.
Numbers, not letters: a creative concept that travels across borders
Developed by independent agency Steve, the campaign reimagines entrepreneurship buzzwords with numbers integrated into them: "AMBITION" becomes "AMB1T1ON," "PASSION" becomes "P4SS1ON," "TALENT" becomes "TAL3NT." A simple visual concept that communicates a collective truth: behind every successful business decision lies tangible numbers. This creative concept speaks to all entrepreneurs, whether it's an independent Spanish food truck owner monitoring daily cash fl ow or a French construction company managing sites and investments. Beyond their uniqueness, they share the same need: mastering their numbers to make the right decisions and build sustainable growth. A universal principle, immediately recognizable across the campaign's eight markets.
A 360° rollout across Europe
Launched in Germany on April 2, the campaign will progressively roll out across seven additional European countries (France, Spain, Italie, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Austria) .
Each market leverages its own mix of TV, out-of-home, press, podcasts, digital audio and activations.
This marks the fi rst time Qonto has deployed a single, cohesive brand platform at this scale across Europe - a structural step in its brand-building strategy, with a clear ambition to become the go-to solution for European entrepreneurs.
Julie Regis, Brand & Communications Director at Qonto said:
"The narrative around entrepreneurship is very good at selling freedom and passion. What it won't acknowledge is the cash fl ow anxiety at 2am. We do. Because when you understand your numbers, you don't just feel better - you make better decisions. That's the truth we wanted to put back at the center of the conversation, and that's what this campaign is about."
Diane de Plas, Managing Director at Steve said:
"Entrepreneurs don’t lack ambition - they lack clarity around their own reality. From there, the idea was obvious: putting numbers back at the heart of the words that shape their lives. And at a European scale, this is precisely what unites entrepreneurs across markets: the same pressures, and the same pride."
