Ernest Announces the Incorporation of Lara Martinez as Brand Director
May. 16, 2023
Ernest announces the incorporation of Lara Martínez as Brand Director, bringing years of experience in banking to the agency, having worked previously with ABANCA and Laboral Kutxa during respective stints at Shackleton and Dimension.
Her professional career began in 2007 at Shackleton where she worked for brands such as Midas, Prisa Radio, Acción Contra el Hambre, Caser Seguros, Reale Seguros and ABANCA, where she participated in some of the financial entity’s most iconic campaigns.
Assured Lara Martínez:
"When they called me to join the team at Ernest I didn’t hesitate to come onboard this exciting project. For me it is an opportunity to grow professionally with an outstanding team that I know very well, who are passionate about what they do, with a vocation that I share wholeheartedly, and with a vision of innovation that I have rarely seen before. As on the first day, I enter with the same enthusiasm and passion along with a firm commitment to continue learning and growing professionally."
Susana Ortiz, ABANCA's Marketing Director, said:
"We have known Lara since the brand was launched more than 9 years ago. She has been the cornerstone of our client-agency relationship. She has proven to be a trustworthy and hard-working professional, meeting the challenges set in each and every campaign we have ran. Her extensive experience, professionalism, positive and collaborative attitude will indeed stand her in good stead for facing this new challenge. And we are very excited to be working together again in this new and exciting chapter of her career. We are very lucky to have her back!"
Inaki Ruiz Manzano, Marketing Director at Laboral Kutxa and president of the Basque Association of Economists, added:
"Over the last few years, I´ve had the opportunity of working with Lara. Her strategic vision, her sense of responsibility, of going one step further, has made her an indispensable part of my team; the peace of mind of knowing that, no matter how many campaigns she handles, everything will be under control, means I can rely on her to not let anything escape us. She is a great Account Director".
Ana Herrero, founding partner of MUY, head of strategy and brands, and previously Client Services Director at Dimension, added:
"Lara is without a doubt one of the best client service professionals I have ever worked with. She understands account management work to perfection and is committed to teaming up with clients from the agency side. Not only does she bring sound judgment, common sense and great care to each task she performs, she also does it with a high degree of emotional intelligence, making her an indispensable cog in the team."
Pablo Alzugaray assured:
"We have known and followed Lara for a long time. She is a mix of intelligence and passion and is always able to respond well under pressure. When she left Shackleton, we were only happy that it was to join an agency we admire as much as Dimensión. So, I can only say that it's wonderful to be working with her again at Ernest, and to see just how well these years have treated her."
