Buttermilk, the global community-first creator agency, has boosted its senior team with the appointment of Suni Khan as its first director of client services.

Khan’s remit will cover client satisfaction, retention and growth as part of a role aimed at spearheading best-in-class client service across Buttermilk’s brand partners. Buttermilk’s client roster includes L’Oreal, Gap, Prada, Armani and Crocs.

The appointment is part of the agency’s growth plans, including a restructure that sees its team assume dedicated remits, from client management and liaison to creator and project management.

Khan, who reports into agency founder Jamie Ray, leads a 100-strong team with imminent hires in the pipeline based on recent new business wins.

Khan’s CV includes stints at agencies including TMW, RAPP and Elvis. He was most recently head of client services at Prodigious London, part of Publicis Groupe. He brings more than a decade of experience working with global clients such as Amazon, Mondelez and Coca-Cola.

Suni Khan commented:

“After hearing Jamie and Mo’s vision and ambition for Buttermilk, I knew I had to be part of that journey. We have an enviable client roster and my aim is to help us strive towards brilliance in the creator space so we grow that roster.”

Ray added:

“Suni’s experience in developing client relationships, and his laser focus on excellence, makes him a great addition to the Buttermilk team. His approach chimes with Buttermilk’s - to ensure best-in-class, creative solutions for brands as the influencer discipline matures. He’s an experienced pair of hands who will help steer the agency as we grow.”
