TBD Post Welcomes Colorist Brian Singler

Aug. 31, 2022

Post production studio TBD Post today welcomes colorist Brian Singler into its ranks, building upon its recent growth with the appointments of Executive Producer Ron Rendon and editor Evan Linton earlier this year.

An internationally sought after commercial, feature, and music video colorist, Brian’s work is known for its bold style - adaptable to any feel and type of project - and meticulous attention to grain structure and color density. Earning him an impressive client list featuring top brands such as Ford, Cadillac, Google, AT&T, Microsoft, Disney, Purina, and English Premier League, Brian has lent his talents to some of the largest US campaigns of recent years.

Brian’s long list of career highlights include Netflix top-10 sci-fi "3022", the primetime cross-network launch of the 2021 Ford Bronco, as well as Advance Auto Parts' "Die Hard is Back", starring Bruce Willis. Generating a whopping 1.8 billion social media impressions, the commercial is a gripping watch, featuring impeccable camera work, iconic talent, explosions, and car chases.

Brian Singler commented:

"What appealed to me immediately about TBD was its commitment to pursuing color at the highest level. That includes everything from HDR grading, color science and Dolby Vision certification, to assembling a roster of some of the top colorists and color scientists in the country. Add in the resources of a full staff of talented finishing artists, multiple grading theatres and an exploding market in Austin for top-end content, and all those factors provide a fantastic opportunity to create industry-leading imagery for years to come."

Karen Jacobs, Managing Director at TBD Post, added:

“Brian is a great fit for TBD Post with his incredible eye for color, love for the technical aspects of the art, and eagerness to expand his footprint beyond St. Louis to work on bigger films as well as commercials. He has a tremendous following of agencies and DPs, and over 20,000 loyal Instagram followers. As we look to grow our offerings at TBD, Brian is a wonderful addition to our color team.”

Ted Griffis, Partner, Post Supervisor, and Editor, at TBD Post, commented:

“Brian is top-tier color talent and his work speaks for itself - his artistry and attention to detail shine through every project he touches. Equally important though, he's a good human who loves to collaborate, which makes him a great addition to our expanding roster of talent.”
