Sport Clips Haircuts Taps NFL's Sam Hartman to Bring Football Culture and Hair Confidence to "Sport Your Look"
Oct. 15, 2026
Sport Clips Haircuts is extending its “Sport Your Look” platform with NFL quarterback and former Notre Dame MVP Sam Hartman, using a self-aware practice team quarterback premise to connect the brand’s sports DNA with a broader message about hair and confidence.
The roughly 40-second execution opens with Hartman on the sideline when the coach suddenly calls his number, the creative moves from football humor into product utility, including Sport Clips online check-in, before transitioning to the brand’s signature MVP Experience and the payoff, “You don’t have to be the MVP to get an MVP.”
The creative sits within a larger consumer insight: men often communicate confidence without saying much at all.
The Hartman execution is part of Sport Clips’ work with partner agencies Get Engaged, Horizon Media, and Stone Ward Advertising as part of an effort to strengthen social storytelling and introduce new talent and content.
The Hartman spots communicate Sport Clips’ own research that guys they feel more confident when their hair looks good.
Christina Clarke, chief marketing officer for Sport Clips said:
“Distinctive brands lean into what they can authentically own. For Sport Clips, that’s the intersection of sports, men’s haircare, and the confidence that comes from a great experience. Sam lets us bring those pieces together with humor in a way that feels native to football culture, culturally relevant, and unmistakably Sport Clips.”
