Sharks Advertising Awards Open for Entries with Anomaly's LA Ronayne as Jury President

The Shark Awards Kinsale have launched their 2021 advertising and design awards season and are now open for entries.

Taking the reins as Jury president is Anomaly London’s Group Creative Director L.A Ronayne. During her two-year tenure, she will ensure a high standard is maintained throughout the judging process, as well as overseeing any category modifications to adapt with the fast-moving changes of the industry.

New categories have been added to award casting, stock footage editing, fashion, Christmas and sporting campaigns.

The jury so far includes some of the best creative talent in the advertising community from Anomaly, BETC, Boys & Girls, Engine, Lucky Generals, Onecore, UltraSuperNew, Uncommon, VCCP as well as best in class masters of craft from Biscuit, Black Kite Studios, Darling Films, Electric Theatre Collective, Partizan, Stitch and 1stAveMachine.

Whilst there will be no official festival with talks and presentations this year, there are plans – restrictions allowing – to travel to Kinsale for in person judging and a touch of IRL interaction, something that has been sorely missed by our creative community over the past year, and is now much needed.

Shark Awards Kinsale Chairman, Peter Brady comments:

In the run up to the 60th anniversary of course, but also at such a pivotal time for creativity — as the world opens up and we decide what the next chapter of our industry will be. I cannot wait to see the work and the outcome as our incredible, international judges and this magical, Irish place come together.”

• 33% on all entries made before midnight BST Wednesday 30^th June
• 15% on all entries made before midnight BST Friday 16^th July
