Ruben Barrouk has been appointed Head of Business Development at Ogilvy Paris. With six years of experience and a diverse background within the agency, he brings a strategic vision and deep market insight to drive the growth of Ogilvy Paris.

After completing a double Master in Consulting & Marketing, Ruben began his career at Ogilvy Paris six years ago in account management. His career path led him to work with major players in the FMCG sector, such as Lactalis-Nestlé and Mondelēz. Subsequently, he made a significant contribution to the growth of the Health & Wellness division, supporting Laboratoires Dermatologiques Pierre Fabre in the renewal of their brand platforms and the expression of their CSR strategies, and Laboratoires UPSA in their development in Europe and French-speaking Africa. More recently, he held the role of Integration Lead for The Coca-Cola Company in France, structuring the OpenX model for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He took over as head of development a few weeks ago, quickly demonstrating his ability to identify and seize new structuring opportunities for the agency.

Ruben Barrouk's passion for literature is brilliantly expressed in his first novel, shortlisted for the prestigious Prix Goncourt 2024. An artistic sensibility that complements his expertise and testifies to a multi-faceted personality.

Mathieu Plassard President of Ogilvy Paris said:

“Ruben's appointment is a true illustration of our commitment to the growth and development of our talent. His journey at Ogilvy, from intern to Head of New Biz, is an inspiring example to us all. His in-depth knowledge of our expertise, ranging from impact and culture to social media and influence, technological transformation, AI, corporate communications and crisis management, combined with his strategic vision, will be a major asset for our development.”

Ruben Barrouk added:

“I'm delighted to be taking over as head of New Business at Ogilvy Paris. It's an honor to contribute to the growth of this iconic agency. I'm convinced that our expertise combined with a creative and innovative approach will enable us to meet tomorrow's challenges and accompany our clients to success.”
