Nicole Fischer Joins Lobo as Live-Action Director
Mar. 10, 2026
LOBO is proud to announce the addition of director Nicole Fischer to its roster of live-action filmmakers. Nicole’s background as a performer, along with her decade of experience directing large-scale brand campaigns, gives her work narrative precision and emotional insight.
Nicole’s artistic foundation in performing arts has strongly informed her work as a director, manifesting in how she communicates with on-screen talent and collaborates on set. Rather than directing talent toward a fixed outcome, she remains open to collaborating with actors, influencers, and celebrities alike as she executes her larger artistic vision. To balance this out, Nicole likes to immerse herself in every project, embedding herself in every phase of production to ensure her fresh visuals come to life with precise attention to detail and that every moment is meticulously crafted.
She made her first major mark with the music video “Esse Close Eu Dei” by Rico Dalasam. The film quickly gained traction and caught the attention of agency Mutato, which brought her in to direct a major Coca-Cola campaign for the Rio 2016 Olympics. The campaign included five large-scale films shot during one of the biggest global events in Brazil’s history. Since then, she has built an impressive and diverse portfolio, including collaborations with brands such as HBO, Netflix, Avon, McDonald's, Kotex, Nestlé, Wella Professional, and Grupo Boticário, for which she won a Cannes Lions Gold in 2025 for “Research My Body.”
Nicole says of joining LOBO:
“I was drawn by the studio’s excellence in post-production, animation, and mixed media, as well as the opportunity to expand my work internationally. I look forward to combining my narrative-driven approach with LOBO’s technical and aesthetic expertise, especially in crafting films with strong finishing and global resonance.”
LOBO Managing Director Luis Ribeiro added:
“Nicole brings a sharp creative eye, a bold visual voice, and a passion for storytelling that aligns perfectly with LOBO’s spirit. Her ability to capture emotion and energy through cinematic detail makes her a true force in live-action filmmaking. We’re excited to see the powerful stories she’ll bring to life with our team and partners around the world.
