New Honda Brand Campaign Showcases the Racing Spirit Inside Every Fun-to-Drive Honda Hybrid

Honda is launching “Relentless Spirit,” a new multi-channel brand campaign celebrating the racing heritage and performance DNA inside its fun-to-drive and fuel-efficient hybrid-electric models. The campaign features the Honda hybrid lineup – Civic, Accord, CR-V and latest addition, the new Prelude – alongside championship-winning Honda race machines in a dynamic new spot bringing that performance connection to life.

In the new spot Civic, Accord, CR-V TrailSport and Prelude hybrids charge through tight city streets, winding mountain roads, rugged muddy trails and a high-speed test track. In their wake are vivid motion trails of Honda race machines – expressing the racing heritage engineered into every Honda hybrid and the exhilarating driving experience they deliver.

The "Relentless Spirit" campaign is more than a creative statement, it reflects the Honda brand standing as the most fuel-efficient full-line automaker in America, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Automotive Trends Report. This distinction is backed by record sales: in 2025, Honda achieved an all-time hybrid-electric sales record for the third straight year, topping 400,000 electrified vehicles sold in America for the first time.

Civic hybrid, Accord hybrid and CR-V hybrid also rank at the very top of the industry with young buyers, and each costs well below the industry average new-vehicle transaction price of nearly $46,000 this year: Civic hybrid ($30,100), Accord hybrid ($32,100) and CR-V hybrid ($36,000).

“Relentless Spirit” will run across broadcast television, cable, streaming and social media, with a heavy presence in high-profile sports, including the 110th Indianapolis 500 on FOX, 2026 FIFA World Cup local TV broadcast coverage, NBA and NHL playoffs and key WNBA match-ups. The campaign also will feature unique social creative highlighting the fun-to-drive spirit behind the Honda hybrid lineup, debuting later this month.

  • About the Honda Hybrid Lineup

The Honda hybrid-electric lineup currently features four fun-to-drive and fuel-efficient models – Civic hybrid, Accord hybrid, CR-V hybrid and the new Prelude hybrid – and represents over 30% of Honda brand sales.

Starting in 2027, Honda will begin launching its next-generation hybrid models featuring both an all-new hybrid system and platform. Honda will launch 15 next-generation hybrid models globally, primarily in North America, by 2030.

The refreshed 2026 Accord makes up over 25% of all retail midsize car purchases with Accord hybrid representing more than 50% of all Accord sales. Sleek, powerful and electrified, Accord hybrid delivers exceptional performance, outstanding efficiency, a sporty, exhilarating driving experience, and has received outstanding EPA fuel economy ratings of 51-mpg city and 44-mpg highway.
  • 2026 Honda CR-V hybrid: The Honda CR-V is the retail #1 model in the industry’s largest segment and the best-selling Honda vehicle, with hybrid models representing more than 50% of all CR-V sales. For 2026, the CR-V hybrid lineup gets even better with the new TrailSport hybrid that brings more rugged styling and improved capability – the first Honda SUV to combine rugged TrailSport design and trail-ready all-terrain tires with the award-winning Honda two-motor hybrid-electric system. CR-V hybrid models have received outstanding fuel economy ratings of 43-mpg city and 36-mpg on the highway.
  • 2026 Honda Prelude Hybrid: The latest addition to the Honda hybrid lineup, the new 2026 Honda Prelude hybrid-electric sports coupe, was introduced to the U.S. market late last year. The first-ever electrified Prelude is the first model to pair the award-winning Honda two-motor hybrid-electric powertrain with the high-performance chassis hardware from the iconic Civic Type R to deliver an engaging grand touring experience, while remaining comfortable for everyday driving.
