Moxy Hotels & TripAdvisor Champion Fearless Solo Travellers in Social-First Campaign "Any Ones Welcome" by Publicis London

Moxy Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy's portfolio of more than 30 hotel brands, has teamed up with TripAdvisor to unveil social-first campaign "Any Ones Welcome." Led by Publicis London, the campaign positions Moxy Hotels as the ultimate spot for solo travelers seeking new connections and vibrant, varied social experiences, the combatting loneliness they can feel from going it alone.

The campaign is based on the insight that travelling solo as a way to meet new people who bring out an interesting side in you, has grown in popularity, with +60% of Tripadvisor travellers opting to travel solo more than they used to. Respondents also cited socialising with new people and making new friends as highlights of their solo trip.

Created by a Publicis Groupe UK cross- agency team, the campaign spans social, digital and events. The campaign emphasizes Moxy Hotel's playful spirit, energetic service and unique spaces that foster connections for solo travellers, with slogans such as: “Plus one? Plus, none”, “Flying solo looks good on you” and “Travel solo. Mingle plural”.

The launch film, which debuts today across TikTok and Meta, invites solo travellers to ‘sip, play & dance’, showcasing the variety of vibrant social experiences on offer at Moxy Hotels and highlighting how there’s a property to suit every kind of solo traveller.

The campaign kicked off with an exclusive launch event at the Moxy Manchester City hotel on 13th November. In partnership with TripAdvisor, 'For the Party of Ones,' brought together fearless solo travellers who had never met each other for a night of celebration and connection, with UK influencers such as Chante Joseph and Jamie Windust in attendance.

A full digital takeover followed the event, with a solo travel content hub launching on TripAdvisor. Playful social content, created by UK influencers Sophie Jones, Chante Joseph and Jamie Windust, went live across TikTok and Meta plus Tinder and Reddit. In Germany, German creators Maureen Adim, Wana Limar and Vincent led the social takeover.

The campaign, which launches across the UK and Germany, is a cross-agency collaboration from Publicis Groupe, with creative led by Publicis London; influencer activity by MSL UK; media planning and buying by Publicis Media; and production by Prodigious. Events were handled by Baille Newman and Tripadvisor.

Noël Bunting, Chief Creative Officer, Publicis London, said:

“In this playful, social-first campaign we're tapping into international creativity to showcase Moxy Hotels’ sociable offerings to solo travellers from all over the world. ‘Any Ones Welcome’ captures the spirit of Moxy Hotels and the solo guests who stay here – fearless, playful and unique.”

Katie Cox, VP of Marketing EMEA, Marriott International, said:

"Any Ones Welcome' is a vibrant celebration of solo travel. With the campaign, we are reimagining solo adventures by highlighting how Moxy Hotels are built for social connections and turn solo travellers’ journeys into lasting memories."
