Monster is launching a humorous TV campaign from mcgarrybowen London
May. 05, 2017
Monster, the online jobs service, is launching a humorous TV campaign featuring the huge, furry job-hunting monster character that personifies the brand showing how he can get you the job that you want and deserve.
The 40-second spot shows the monster approaching the camera and talking directly to the viewer about how telepathy allows him to know how special they are and also knows the job that they desire. It concludes by saying that Monster will never stop until it gets you the job you deserve. The spot is accompanied by spooky music.
The monster then runs off screen to reveal the word: “Jobs. Advice. Fur” and the strapline “Monster.co.uk. Find Better.” The campaign will run for 4 weeks.
McGarrybowen introduced the formidable monster character last year to Monster’s pan-European advertising, following its appointment to the account in February 2016.
Andrew Warner, Vice President Marketing, Europe at Monster, said:
“There’s a big job to be done and we needed a campaign that would ensure Monster is the number one destination when it comes to finding the right job or the right candidate. Bringing Monster to life literally, provides us with a great creative canvas to get that message across.”
Paul Jordan, Executive Creative Director at mcgarrybowen, said:
"Creating a personification of the brand in Monster allows us to deliver all the benefits with a distinct attitude and tone that speaks to candidates who are struggling to find that job of their dreams. This is just the start, there’s a lot more to come.”
