Modern Post Welcomes Veronica Ware as Head of Creative Operations and Promotes Kelly Zdanowicz to Head of Production

Modern Post announces that Kelly Zdanowicz has been promoted from Senior Post Producer to Head of Production for the New York editorial roster. Joining her is Veronica Ware, who now serves as Modern Post’s Head of Creative Operations across all Modern Post’s offices and departments.

These appointments reflect a thoughtful investment in the future of Modern Post, which has grown into a multidisciplinary creative studio, with Editorial, Color, and VFX teams working across offices in New York and Los Angeles. To match that growth, the celebrated production house has intentionally created two complementary leadership roles to better support its collaborators and artists both internally and externally. As Head of Production, Kelly Zdanowicz will lead client-facing efforts in NY, while Veronica Ware will drive internal systems across Modern Post’s NY and LA offices.

Veronica Ware began her career in live production and eventually fell in love with the processes and art of post-production. That passion led her to work with companies such as UVPhactory, JumP/Poetica, The Mill, FuseFX, Ntropic, Framestore, and eventually to freelancing. A participative, team oriented leader, Veronica excels in distilling information and turning it into actions that help all participants feel involved in the shared process and goals. Serving as Modern Post’s Head of Creative Operations, she will improve the company’s workflow and communication while sharing knowledge and creating avenues for mentorship across the company’s departments.

Veronica Ware says of her aspirations for this role:

“I believe that investing in new professionals entering the field will provide a new perspective on creativity that leads to innovation and new expressions. The work Modern Post does is extraordinary, but the talent behind the work is even more impressive. It’s amazing to see so many people collaborate at such a fast pace and care so much about the quality. I love advising and supporting people to help them perform at their best, and Modern Post shares those values with me.”

Kelly Zdanowicz’s promotion to Head of Production arrived after years of dedication to Modern Post and its clients and establishing herself as a leader within the studio. She produced Modern Post’s Clio-winning work from the past year, which includes music videos for Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please, Please, Please” and Doja Cat’s “Gorgeous,” along with the brand campaigns “Decades of Confusion” for LOEWE, “Only Icons” for Maybelline, and “Alien Hypersense” for Mugler. In her new position, Kelly will continue to do what she does masterfully at a higher level: building relationships with clients, earning trust, and leading complex editorial projects with thoughtfulness and care.

She says of Modern Post:

“When I first joined, I wanted to work for a company that genuinely celebrates the craft of editing and finishing—where post isn’t looked on as the part of the process that happens after everyone else is done. We have such an incredible team at Modern Post, and I’m really looking forward to helping people grow and making sure Modern Post continues to be a place where both our people and our creative work thrive.”

Charlyn Derrick, Managing Partner and Executive Producer of Modern Post, remarks on the studio’s new leadership:

"These appointments strengthen our leadership team and position us for the next chapter of growth. By promoting Kelly, we’re reinforcing our commitment to developing leaders from within and recognizing the talent that helped shape Modern Post’s success. In welcoming Veronica, we’re bringing on a fresh perspective, broad industry experience, and new ideas that will help us stay true to the collaborative, high-touch culture that defines who we are. Together, they form a leadership partnership that balances continuity with fresh thinking. Their combined experience will help us deliver exceptional work for our clients and continue building a company that’s positioned for long-term growth.”
