Mia Powell Returns to PRETTYBIRD UK as Head of Business and Strategy

Mar. 30, 2023

Mia Powell has rejoined the nest as Head of Business and Strategy at PRETTYBIRD UK. Mia has worked for many highly established businesses across the advertising, media and fashion landscape: most recently developing and building the commercial arm of Sir Steve McQueen’s production company Lammas Park, and historically worked at Ridley Scott Creative Group, MullenLowe and iris Worldwide.

Mia Powell commented:

"I feel blessed to be back at PRETTYBIRD, where we have built a rich history and have worked on many great projects together. My name feels synonymous with the PRETTYBIRD brand and having learned and grown so much, it is great to be back with a fresh attitude, approach, and fire."

Juliette Larthe, PRETTYBIRD UK Co-Founder and Executive Producer added:

"I’m happy to be announcing the return of Mia Powell to PRETTYBIRD in London as Head of Business and Strategy. Mia originally started here, and although from day one she understood the dynamics of the industry, her practice and process has grown from strength to strength. Mia is great at pioneering solutions and adds critical value to the pursuit of creative innovation. As we stride into a new era, Mia is aligned with our manifestos for excellence in craft and creating access and opportunity in all sectors. We will work together to foster relationships taking risks whilst encouraging trust to enhance growth. Mia is one of the most exciting people in any room. Mia is also an artist, activitist, and architect as well as one of the best in the business at creative match making."

A creative, strategic hybrid, Mia lends her skills to develop and nurture teams and talent to create award-winning work. Mia’s passion lies in collaboration; working on projects with agencies, and direct-to-brand to create boundary-breaking and nuanced films across all branded platforms including commercials, socials, branded entertainment, and beyond.  Mia is a strong advocate for change and continues to champion marginalised and underrepresented voices working with a number of initiatives such as the Shiny Awards, Brixton Finishing School and ELAM.
