Meredith Castellani Joins Zulumatic as Strategy Lead
Apr. 17, 2026
Zulumatic, the in-house media planning and buying arm of global creative agency Zulu Alpha Kilo (Z.A.K.), has announced that Meredith Castellani, former Senior Director of Media Solutions at Decoded Advertising, has joined as Strategy Lead, effective immediately.
Castellani is a highly respected New York-based media director, having previously steered the global DECIEM (The Ordinary) business and partnered on Clinique’s North American media efforts at Decoded. She joins Zulumatic during a period of head-turning growth and new client wins across North America built on Z.A.K.’s belief that understanding audiences and how to reach them is a part of the creative process.
Sean Bell, Executive Director, Media & Comms Planning at Zulu Alpha Kilo said:
"Meredith brings a unique perspective on algorithmic media and what’s next for the industry, not to mention considerable experience scaling brands across a wide variety of categories. We’re delighted that she’s joining us for the next chapter of Zulumatic."
Castellani said:
"It’s an exciting moment to join Zulumatic. I’m looking forward to collaborating with a super talented team on a media practice that’s deeply integrated with creative, obsessed with audience insights, and focused on delivering growth for our clients."
At Zulumatic, Castellani will spearhead strategy, pulling levers in audience, formats and channels to bring a unique perspective for the discipline’s growing list of clients. As Castellani joins the team to lead strategy, Alicia Petralia moves into a new role as Ops and Analytics Lead, overseeing media investment, trafficking and analytics across the business.
The evolution of Zulumatic’s structure reflects the growth of the discipline and the benefits of combining creative and media with one team. It coincides with new hires and searches in both strategy and analytics to further bolster the team in 2026. The expanding footprint comes as Z.A.K. enters its eighteenth year with a spate of rapid growth, including the expansion of offices in both Vancouver and New York.
