M+C Saatchi Consulting Appoints Sammi Marwan to Lead EMEA Region and Scale Return on Cultural Power

Sep. 15, 2026

M+C Saatchi Consulting has appointed Sammi Marwan as Managing Director, Consulting – EMEA. He joins from sports and entertainment technology platform Greenfly, where he was Chief Operating Officer.

Marwan will lead the consultancy’s 50-strong team across EMEA, with responsibility for the regional P&L, revenue growth, profitability, new business and client retention. He will set and deliver the consultancy’s regional strategy, build its profile in the EMEA market and position M+C Saatchi as a cultural growth partner for clients.

Marwan will also work closely with leadership across M+C Saatchi’s creative, experience, media, performance, data, digital and strategy capabilities, bringing together expertise from across the group to solve client challenges. A key part of his remit will be strengthening the connection between strategy, creativity, data and technology, while developing new products and intellectual property to drive client and agency growth.

A major focus will be the commercialisation and scaling of Return on Cultural Power (RoCP), as M+C Saatchi continues to invest in the commercial application of Cultural Power following its global repositioning around the proposition. Developed with Oxford Saïd Business School, RoCP is a proprietary framework designed to quantify the relationship between culture, brand and business growth, with research underpinning the model finding that 32.8% of brand equity variance is explained by culture. Marwan will be responsible for embedding RoCP as a core client offering across EMEA, alongside M+C Saatchi Consulting’s wider tools and IP, using it to deepen client relationships and drive new growth opportunities.

Alongside the commercial remit, Marwan will be responsible for developing M+C Saatchi Consulting’s talent and culture across EMEA, building a high-performing, collaborative team and developing the next generation of consulting leaders.

Marwan brings 15 years’ experience spanning creative and marketing agencies, media, entertainment, sport, technology and consulting, with a track record of developing growth strategies and improving commercial and operational performance.

Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer at Greenfly, the digital media technology platform for sports and entertainment. Prior to this, he founded RLO Consulting and held senior roles at Endeavor, including leading corporate strategy and development at global cultural marketing agency 160over90. Alongside this role, he held a board seat at Obsidianworks, the culture-powered marketing agency co-founded by Michael B. Jordan.

Previously, Marwan led strategy and consulting at IMG, advising clients including UEFA, the Football Association, Wimbledon and the R&A. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at FT Strategies, BCG and EY, where his work included advising major global advertising holding groups on strategy and transformation.

Marwan will report to Rhonda Hiatt, Global CEO, M+C Saatchi Consulting.

Rhonda Hiatt, Global CEO, M+C Saatchi Consulting, said:

“Every conversation I have with leaders in EMEA lands in the same place: they know culture is driving their growth, but they can’t measure it or act on it fast enough. That is exactly the job Sammi is here to do. He brings over a decade of commercial leadership both inside and outside of agencies, building and scaling consulting businesses where he owned the outcomes and growth agenda, and that is the mindset Return on Cultural Power demands. We’re so pleased to welcome a new leader who will be driving measurable results for our clients across the region.”

Karen Boswell, Global CEO, Experience & Media, M+C Saatchi, added:

“We built Return on Cultural Power with Oxford Saïd to close the measurement gap between long-term brand building and short-term performance. But IP only matters when it changes how clients make decisions. Sammi’s appointment is the group putting that IP to work where it counts, in market, under a leader with the commercial rigour to hold it accountable to real outcomes.”

Sammi Marwan, Managing Director, Consulting – EMEA, M+C Saatchi, said:

“It’s an exciting time to be joining M+C Saatchi. The group has spent the last two years repositioning around Cultural Power and validating that thinking with Oxford Saïd. As Return on Cultural Power moves into its next phase, I have the opportunity to help shape how we take it to market and prove its value commercially as well as intellectually. There’s also a significant opportunity to grow M+C Saatchi’s position in consulting, building on the strength of the brand and the breadth of expertise across the group. EMEA gives us a strong foundation, with some of the group’s longest-standing client relationships, and I’m looking forward to getting RoCP into the hands of clients and building on that momentum across the region.”
