Kontur Appoints Designit to Lead Global Repositioning Ahead of Next Growth Phase

Sep. 08, 2026

Designit, Wipro's experience innovation company, has been appointed by Kontūr to lead a strategic global brand marketing transformation as the business enters its next phase of growth - Kontūr 2.0.

Kontūr, a global leader in subsurface intelligence technology, has brought Designit on board to reposition how the company communicates its value across international markets. The brief will shift from product and hardware-led messaging toward a value-driven story focused on real-world infrastructure outcomes and operational decision-making.

Designit will lead the development of a single, unified brand narrative for Kontūr that works consistently across its global markets, while giving regional partners the flexibility to adapt it locally.

Central to the work is the relaunch of Kontūr Orbit, repositioning it around the operational and infrastructure decisions it helps customers make.

The repositioning will also focus on demonstrating how subsurface intelligence can help infrastructure operators reduce risk, avoid costly failures, and make better long-term planning and maintenance decisions.

As part of the brief, Designit will lead the go-to-market strategy for Push Cart in the Fall of 2026, a new solution for bridge deck and utility mapping designed to broaden access to subsurface intelligence across infrastructure sectors globally. Built around real-world applications and customer outcomes rather than technical specifications, the launch reflects the broader strategic shift Kontūr is making as it expands into new markets and audiences.

Trine Brønd-Jensen, Account Executive, Designit said:

“Helping Kontūr shift from a product-led conversation to one centred on real-world impact aligns with Designit's belief that powerful technology should be universally understood - not just by technical experts, but by the people and organisations whose decisions it has the power to shape. By developing a global narrative and brand framework that works consistently across markets, we can help position Kontūr’s subsurface intelligence as essential infrastructure insight rather than specialist technical information. From the beginning, we invested heavily in understanding Kontūr's world, and it's that depth of thinking that we believe set us apart."

Marte Elvestrand, Marketing Manager, Kontūr commented:

"Designit quickly understood the challenge we were trying to solve: making highly complex subsurface intelligence easier to understand, position, and apply across global markets. As we continue to grow internationally and prepare for the next phase of the business, we needed a partner that could help us tell a clearer, more consistent story around the value our technology creates for customers and infrastructure operators worldwide."
