i-media Appoints WPP's Nick Slaymaker as Chief Growth Officer to Drive Strategic Expansion
May. 13, 2026
i-media, the UK's leading motorway DOOH network, today announces the appointment of Nick Slaymaker to the newly created role of Chief Growth Officer.
Nick joins i-media following a 19-year tenure at WPP, where he held several high-profile leadership positions, including Investment Leader at GroupM, Chief Investment Officer at MediaCom Global and Global Head of Trading at MediaCom. Throughout his career, Nick has been instrumental in managing the media interests of some of the world's most iconic brands, including The Coca-Cola Company, Google, and Mars.
The Chief Growth Officer role is newly created, marking a new chapter for i-media following Mayfair Equity Partners' 2024 investment. Nick will be responsible for scaling the company's proprietary data tools - technology that gives brands unprecedented targeting in real-time - to drive growth for i-media and its clients.
Nick's appointment also signals a significant reunion with i-media Chairman Nick Lawson. The pair spent over a decade working closely together at MediaCom and bring a depth of trust and shared vision to the i-media leadership team from day one.
Jonathan Lewis, i-media CEO, said:
“Nick’s knowledge and wealth of media experience will undoubtedly help us fulfil our ambitious and exciting plans for the business, and I’m thrilled that he is now officially part of the i-media family. i-media has undergone a programme of rapid transformation, and Nick’s deep understanding of the global media landscape will fuel the next stage of our journey.”
Nick Slaymaker, i-media Chief Growth Officer, said:
“I’m really looking forward to joining Jonathan and the team during such a pivotal time. i-media is at the forefront of the UK’s programmatic OOH revolution, combining a unique, high-dwell-time environment with world-class data capabilities. I am eager to apply my experience in global investment and trading to help our brand partners achieve measurable, high-impact growth on the UK road network.”
With a presence at over 130 Motorway Service Area locations, i-media reaches up to 8.1 million weekly visitors and 355 million unique annual visitors. The company operates the UK’s largest network of full-motion, large-format digital screens at Motorway Service Areas (MSAs) through exclusive partnerships with Moto, Welcome Break, Roadchef, and Extra.
