HAMLET's Ongoing Commitment to New Talent with Latest Signing Angelo Cerisara
Jul. 07, 2021
Continuing their commitment to nurturing the next generation of directing talent, international production company HAMLET have signed up-and-coming director Angelo Cerisara to their roster for representation in Belgium, Germany, China, Holland and Japan.
Inspired by parkour and skateboarding, Angelo started to make his own videos which provided him with a wide range of skills for bold aesthetic, and dynamic shots. This passion led him to London to study at the National Film and Television School (NFTS), and his 2018 documentary on mental illness ‘Frehiwot’, was awarded the UK Winner at the Nespresso Talent at the Cannes Film Festival.
Angelo comments:
“Of course I am excited to join HAMLET. A strong synergy between a director and producer is critical, and that’s what I have with the team there, so in my mind, this is the start of something big!”
Jason Felstead, Co-founder and EP of HAMLET, adds:
“I have very high expectations of what is to come with Angelo. The work he has done at such a young age is extraordinary, and I’m convinced he will develop into a director that will make a mark on our industry. I’m looking forward to working with him.”
Most recently Angelo has created TVCs and branded content for international brands such as Uber and Nike amongst others.
