Grindr and DAVID Buenos Aires Celebrate LGBTQ+ Matches One Rainbow at a Time
Feb. 23, 2024
Since its launch in 2009, Grindr has evolved into the largest social networking app for gay, bisexual, trans, and queer individuals. Millions of daily users employ its location-based technology in nearly every corner of the globe.
Building on the premise of being "0 feet away from the queer world around you," the agency has crafted a campaign illustrating how easy it is to connect with others, regardless of their location in the world.
Nicolás Vara and Ignacio Flotta, CCOs at DAVID Buenos Aires added:
"The Rainbow is undoubtedly the most recognizable symbol of the LGBTQ+ community. However, beyond being an icon, it is a beautiful natural phenomenon depicted in thousands of postcards from cities worldwide. What makes this campaign special is giving new meaning to these images to celebrate the thousands of matches that Grindr makes possible every day in every city around the world."
VP of Marketing for Grindr, Tristan Pineiro said:
"We are excited to be partnering with DAVID Buenos Aires on this innovative campaign that celebrates love in all its forms while amplifying the message which is so important within the Grindr community; striving to create a world that is free, safe, and equal for all."
