Greenpoint Pictures Signs With Champion for East Coast Representation

Feb. 24, 2026

Brooklyn-based production company Greenpoint Pictures is excited to announce that it has partnered with Champion for East Coast representation.

Based in New York City, Champion curates brand collaborations for its roster of clients. Representing a wide range of companies specializing in production, post-production, and music, Champion’s leadership is similarly diverse in its experience. Founded in 2021 by Julie Margilaj Knips, J. Patrick McElroy, and Joanna Margilaj, the trio has experience in sales, management, production, and more. The Champion roster includes Church, division7, DROOL, Florence, Institute, Squeak E. Clean Studios, Trevor, and now, Greenpoint Pictures.

Michael Kuhn, director and founder of Greenpoint Pictures, says on signing:

“Champion reminds us of what we’ve built here at Greenpoint. They took risks by starting their own thing in a tough market, and they hustle and fight hard for their companies, which we respect and love. Our connection is strong, and we’re so excited to embark on this new chapter at Greenpoint alongside the three of them.”

For 23 years, Greenpoint Pictures has set the standard as one of the first boutique production companies. An all-in-one production house, Greenpoint’s filmmakers work across all genres and tones, bringing premium craftsmanship and artistic clarity to every project. Greenpoint’s recent brand collaborations include ESPN, Nissan, GoDaddy, Kawasaki, Callaway, and a dual campaign for the NBA and Marty Supreme. Additional projects include the acclaimed short films “Ovejas y Lobos,” “Childhood Homesick,” and “¡Pika!,” which was edited by Greenpoint’s award-winning editor and recent Young Guns 23 winner, Ben Schwaeber, and premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Julie Margilaj Knips, co-founder and rep at Champion, added:

“We’ve genuinely been fans of Greenpoint’s work for years, so bringing them onto our roster feels like a natural next step. There’s an incredible level of craft across their team, and we’re excited to support them in building new, meaningful brand partnerships.”
