Goodness Strengthens OREO DTC Ecosystem with Relaunch of Oreo.com

Following their recent selection as OREO® DTC’s Direct-to-Consumer Agency Partner, digital commerce agency Goodness announces the relaunch of Oreo.com. Built on Shopify’s headless technology, the new site offers a more robust infrastructure and future-facing digital tools that enable OREO® to more thoughtfully engage and serve DTC customers.

With this more powerful platform, Goodness hopes to enable deeper, more equitable customer relationships for the beloved cookie brand. “We don’t take for granted that someone will engage with the brand without getting something in return,” explains Goodness COO Donald Fierros. “If they’re going to visit Oreo.com and invite the brand to contact them through email or text, we need to offer something in return, whether that’s early access to products, discounts or giveaways. With the new technology behind the site, OREO® will be able to serve better, more personalized user experiences that ensure that their audiences deepen their connection to the brand.”

The new Oreo.com is built on Shopify’s headless commerce solution Hydrogen and Oxygen– frameworks that allow less technical management and greater flexibility as the site evolves.  So far, this has been instrumental in elevating the custom cookie creation OREOiD experience – making it faster to use, easier to create custom cookies for consumers, as well as setting the stage for future improvements and new experiences. Other site advancements allow OREO® to have better insight into the needs of customers, unlocking limitless potential of real personalization across the ecosystem.

Goodness has previously collaborated with Mondelēz International, including a longtime partnership with CLIF Bar, acting as their digital agency for over 10 years. For their work, they were named “Best In Class” for DTC by leading global market research company Forrester.
