Just like the award show, the Gerety Talks series puts some of the marketing and creative industries true changemakers in the spotlight and at the centre of the conversation for a refreshing take on what leadership looks like.
Jill Hotchkiss is responsible for leading the creative brand vision, strategy and tactics for all on-air marketing and promotion assets for Disney Branded Television, a provider of original content scripted and unscripted, live-action and animated for Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior, with a primary focus on imaginative, aspirational stories geared towards kids, tweens, teens and families. Hotchkiss also leads the creation of The Walt Disney Company's citizenship campaigns for its kid-focused television platforms including "Be Inspired" for which she and her team won an Emmy Award.

Hotchkiss, who joined Disney in 2003, was promoted to her current role in 2019. Previously, she was Vice President, On-Air Promotion, Disney Channels, a role she was promoted into in 2012. From 2009-12, Hotchkiss was Vice President/Creative Director for Disney XD. From 2003-09, she was Executive Creative Director, Disney ABC Cable Networks Group.
Prior to joining Disney, she was senior writer/producer for The WB Television Network where she was responsible for on-air promotion and brand identity for key series including "7th Heaven," "Gilmore Girls," "Smallville," "Felicity" and "Everwood."
