Aug. 14, 2023

The panel includes, Margaux Gutmann, Art Director, Edelman France, Mary Soroka, Global Vice President, Creative Director, Edelman New York, Elizabeth Mulligan, Vice President, Nutrition Edelman LA.

Just like the award show, the Gerety Talks series puts some of the marketing and creative industries true changemakers in the spotlight and at the centre of the conversation for a refreshing take on what leadership looks like.

Margaux Gutmann is an Art Director at Edelman Paris with a passion for creating impactful campaigns that address contemporary societal issues. She started her career in independent French agencies before joining BETC Paris, where she worked on international campaigns. Her work has earned her awards for campaigns with a cultural impact on society, including a Eurobest Glass.

Margaux is dedicated to supporting female talent and mentoring young female art directors in the industry.

In her spare time, she trains her recently adopted dog Tofu. No need to say that Tofu was quickly promoted Chief of Happiness Officer in the workplace.

Mary Soroka is an award-winning Art, Creative, and Film Director, currently serving as Global Vice President at Edelman New York. Recognitions include The One Show, Clios, The Webby Awards, Cannes Lions, London International Awards, UN Women, and more. Her work has been featured in Adweek, Associated Press, Bloomberg, Buzzfeed, Canadian Press, CBC, CBS News, CNN, Cosmopolitan, Daily Mail, The Drum, ELLE, Entertainment Television, FastCompany, Forbes, Glamour, Global News, The Globe and Mail, The Los Angeles Times, National Post, The New York Times, The Toronto Star, Upworthy, Vogue, and countless others. She has provided creative solutions and leadership for a number of Fortune 500 companies and brands, such as Dove (including the viral #KeepTheGrey and #LetHerGrow campaigns), IKEA, and Google.

Elizabeth Mulligan is a registered dietitian nutritionist by training and a communications professional by choice. With nearly a decade years of agency experience, she strives to be her clients' go-to expert for everything related to nutrition and wellness.

Elizabeth currently leads several efforts for Ajinomoto where she uses scientific communications and cultural conversations to destigmatize the misperceptions around monosodium glutamate (MSG.) Elizabeth also supports clients across the food and wellness landscape including CPGs, commodity groups and ingredient companies including Beyond Meat, Knorr and Starbucks.

From messaging development, strategic partner management, community engagement and more, Elizabeth is dedicated to cutting through the noise and confusion in a crowded landscape so her clients can effectively share their wellness stories with healthcare professionals, stakeholders and consumers.

Elizabeth resides in San Diego with her husband. She spends her free time enjoying the sun, hiking and cooking for friends and family. Elizabeth earned her B.S. in public health, nutrition at Indiana University Bloomington.
