Gerety Awards Announced McCann New York The 2021 U.S. Agency of the Year

Prior to the shortlist announcement due Tuesday, June 15 and following the U.S judging session, the Gerety Awards, the only creative prize to reward the best in advertising from the female vision, announces that McCann New York is the U.S. agency of the year.

Agency of the Year by country is chosen by the local juries from the portfolio cut and requires a single film no longer than 5 minutes in length and includes up to three pieces of work from the past 12 months.

McCann New York was awarded for their portfolio cut entry that included work with Mastercard “True Name”, Microsoft “Changing the Sidelines” and Annovera “Vagina Appreciation Day”.

On being awarded U.S. Agency of the year, the McCann creative leaders behind the winning campaigns Maru Kopelowicz, EVP, Executive Creative Director; Shayne Millington, EVP, Global Executive Creative Director; Piper Hickman, EVP, Global Executive Creative Director; Cinzia Crociani, EVP, Executive Creative Director, had the following to say "Nothing's more rewarding than McCann being recognized for work on three distinct brands - it speaks to our collective dedication to truth and creativity as an agency. Thank you to the Gerety Awards for this honour."
