Fortnight Collective Promotes Sam Emrich to Head of Strategy
Boulder-based brand accelerator Fortnight Collective has promoted Sam Emrich to Head of Strategy. She joined the agency in 2024 as Senior Director of Strategy and Insights.
Over the last two years, Emrich has built and scaled Fortnight’s strategy function from the ground up, strengthening strategy’s role as a central driver of client work, new business, internal processes, and agency positioning. She has been instrumental in elevating the agency’s strategic output through insight-led thinking and distinct strategic perspective.
Emrich developed Fortnight’s FORT brief, designed to uncover what makes a brand one-of-one and fortify it against the evolving challenges of the marketplace; and also created Fortnight's F5 process, which now guides engagements from kickoff through sustained momentum.
She has led strategic engagements across much of Fortnight’s client portfolio, helping shape both client work and the agency’s broader positioning, while growing the strategy team she now leads.
Prior to Fortnight, Emrich developed strategic expertise at several New York-based agencies including Ketchum, CIVIC Entertainment Group and FutureBrand, working across North American and global brands including Mastercard, Ford Motor Company, Gillette, and Intermountain Health.
She will continue to report to Fortnight President Devin Reiter and will lead the ongoing development of the agency’s strategy discipline, overseeing strategic direction across the portfolio and expanding strategy's role as a core engine of growth for both clients and the business.
Fortnight’s clients include Noodles & Company, Smartwool, Steamboat Ski Resort, Odell Brewing Company, Solely, and Sun Valley. The agency was recently named to best places to work lists by Ad Age and Outside Magazine.
