Erich & Kallman's Earth Day Spot for Earthbound Farm
May. 01, 2025
Ahead of Earth Day on April 22, Erich & Kallman helps connect a call between an indecisive shopper, Linda, and Mother Earth herself. In the ad “Decisions, Decisions,” Linda peruses the supermarket aisle when a farmer appears at her side with a landline call from Earth. “Earth to Linda. I’ve got Earth on the line,” he tells her, handing her a bag of Earthbound Farm organic baby spinach. “She says it's fresh, organic, healthy, you’re gonna to love it.” She also has another message the farmer relays. “You’re overwatering your azaleas.” Linda takes the note about her azaleas and chooses the spinach.
Creative team Scott Fish and Sarah Johnson, Erich & Kallman said:
"Earthbound is some of the best food on earth. We figured if Earth could talk, she'd definitely recommend it, so we got her on the phone. It’s been wonderful working with Earthbound Farm and an added pleasure to release our first spot for them on Earth Day.”
The spots were directed by Taso Alexander with the production company Arts & Sciences. The media agency used was hunterblu media, founded by David Hunter and Jessica Blumberg.
T. Bruce Taylor, Vice President of Earthbound Farm said:
“Consumers are craving real food and clean ingredients that are grown and packed with care. With a clever wink, Erich & Kallman elevates our brand and connects the decisions consumers make at the store with the farmers who grow our food and the planet it is grown on.”
