E.ON Appoints McCann Leeds as Lead Creative Agency for Energy Infrastructure Solutions
Feb. 03, 2026
Energy provider E.ON has appointed McCann Leeds as its lead creative agency for its Energy Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) division, strengthening how it communicates its work delivering cleaner, more affordable, and resilient local energy systems across the UK.
McCann will develop fully integrated creative campaigns to support EIS’s Playmaker role in the energy transition, helping translate complex energy challenges into practical, customer-focused outcomes. Together, E.ON and McCann will showcase how E.ON is making new energy work, while supporting the decarbonisation of towns and cities across the UK.
The collaboration will focus on clearly communicating EIS’s capabilities across the full energy lifecycle, helping customers better understand how E.ON designs, builds, finances, operates and optimises local energy systems.
This work aligns with E.ON EIS’s UK strategy: We make new energy work by using our capabilities to create local energy systems that are affordable, reliable, and sustainable.
More broadly, EIS is focused on playing a leading role in Europe’s energy transition. This is guided by a clear set of priorities, including delivering operational excellence, developing customer-centric modular offerings, investing in capabilities and talent, fostering a strong EIS culture, and using data to drive smarter, more impactful outcomes.
Lisa Fowkes, Go to Market Marketing & Communications Lead at E.ON, said:
“We’re delighted to be working closely with McCann Leeds to help demonstrate how we’re making new energy work for customers and communities. Together, we’ll simplify complex energy solutions and support the delivery of affordable, reliable and sustainable local energy systems across the UK.”
Olly Sowden, Managing Director at McCann Leeds, added:
“We’re excited to partner with E.ON as their EIS lead creative agency. E.ON is playing a vital role in shaping the future of local energy, and we’re proud to support that ambition through creative work that brings clarity to complexity and highlights the meaningful impact EIS is delivering for customers, cities and communities.”
Across the UK, E.ON EIS is already delivering tangible impact. Projects such as Silvertown’s low-carbon ectogrid™ network, the Coventry Strategic Energy Partnership, and Citigen demonstrate how E.ON combines expertise and collaboration to reduce emissions and create sustainable, reliable local energy systems for homes, businesses and cities nationwide
