Disney Cruise Line Brings to Life the Magic of Disney at Sea in New Out-of-Home Campaign

Disney Cruise Line, part of The Walt Disney Company, has launched a new digital out-of-home campaign, designed to bring to life the magic of Disney at sea. 

Creatively devised and executed by Havas London in collaboration with the in-house creative marketing team, the campaign aims to boost awareness of Disney Cruise Line with the public, by highlighting just how close they can get to their favourite Characters and their stories, while at sea.

Featuring four hero Disney Characters (Mickey, Minnie, Woody and Stitch), playfully peering into portholes, the series of digital out-of-home executions are accompanied by the tag line "Get closer to your best friends"

The campaign is now live at out of home locations across London and the southeast of England, covering over 3,000 locations.

Production was handled by Prose on Pixels, with media from Zenith UK.

Angelica Costantini, Vice President of Disney Destinations International UK and EMEA remarked: 

"We are delighted to have the Disney Fantasy sailing out of Southampton for the first time this summer, bringing our Disney magic closer to home for UK guests. It has been great to work with Havas to raise awareness of these UK sailings, and see our brand brought to life in an innovative way through out-of- home advertising".

"As soon as the Cruise Line brief came in from Disney, our imagination set sail. Nothing gets you closer to the Characters than being at sea with them for a few days, so we wanted to capture that round the clock, up close fun. Really simple, playful posters that truly burst into life with some fantastic digital placements too".
