Nov. 03, 2026

Cut+Run is pleased to announce that celebrated editor Christjan Jordan has joined the global editorial company as an Editor Partner. Christjan joins the Cut+Run leadership team that includes Managing Partners Amburr Farls and Lauren Hertzberg, and fellow Editor Partners and roster-mates Frank Effron, Jon Grover, Jay Nelson, Gary Knight, Heidi Black, and Founder Steve Gandolfi.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Christjan began his career at Warner Bros. Television, then joined various editorial companies before co-founding The Den. His dedication to his craft has made him a sought-after editor, with his work frequently appearing in each year’s Super Bowl. At Cut+Run, Christjan looks forward to focusing on editing while supporting and nurturing up-and-coming editors at the company.

He has earned numerous industry awards, including a 2025 Cannes Silver Lion for Netflix's “You’ve Been Warned,” created by Wieden+Kennedy, and two Sports Emmys for the FOX Sports campaign “Tis The FIFA World Cup” and the NASCAR campaign “America, Start Your Engines,” starring Nick Offerman. Christian has received three Primetime Emmy nominations for Amazon’s “Alexa Loses Her Voice” and “Alexa’s Body,” starring Michael B. Jordan, and Apple TV+ “Everyone But Jon Hamm.” His work on Supercell’s “Squad Up,” directed by Jody Hill, and Uber Eats' “Don’t Eats This,” directed by Jake Szymanski, has also won several major awards.

Christjan’s editorial sensibilities are defined by his eye for comedic timing, sharp instincts, and ability to seamlessly sequence humorous scenes into a cohesive, hilarious film. Whether working in comedy, VFX, or animation, Christjan’s passion for great storytelling helps him bring out the best in any scene. His brand work includes collaborations with McDonald’s, Verizon, Ford, GEICO, Amazon, PayPal, Cash App, Uber Eats, Apple, Frito-Lay, Pfizer, Walmart, Supercell and EA Sports.

Christjan on signing, speaking about Cut+Run’s founder remarked:

“Steve Gandolfi is a legend. Cut+Run is filled with a wonderful group of people across all of their offices. I’ve always known Steve to be a kind, talented guy, so when I was considering this new era of my career, I naturally gravitated towards Cut+Run. I’m very happy to be here.”

Gandolfi added:

“It’s a genuine honor to have Christjan join the team. He’s an incredible editor and a lovely person to work with. We’ve all admired his work for a very long time, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him officially on as a Cut+Run editor and partner.”
