Created by Coming Soon, Betclic has Launched a new Online Casino Campaign
Mar. 11, 2025
Betclic presents its new campaign with the online casino slogan “The World is Your Casino.” Created by Coming Soon and produced by Show Off Films, the campaign stars Pepê Rapazote in a humorous homage to epic medieval battle movies like Braveheart and Gladiator.
Pepe Rapazote, a Portuguese actor known worldwide for his role in the Netflix series Narcos, stars in the spot, inspired by the classic “speech to the army” scene. In this epic pep talk, a general thanks the “heroes” of his army, addressing “bosses who give endless speeches” and “girlfriends who take two hours to dry their hair,” among other characters who give us more free time to spend at Betclic’s online casino.
The production, which gathered over one hundred actors, knights, professional fighters, and extras—all dressed in period costumes—was shot in Sintra, Portugal.
Directed by Alexandre Montenegro, with post-production by Mola, sound design by Mute, and photography by Ivo Cordeiro, the campaign launched on March 4 across TV, digital media, print, and outdoor advertising.
