Cornett Names Damon Vinyard Head of Production

Independent, full-service agency Cornett has named Damon Vinyard its Head of Production. The role is a first for the agency, part of Cornett’s continued commitment to ensuring content and production excellence.

The seasoned producer started his career in film and television during his first eight years in the industry, but spent the last 13 in the commercial world. Vinyard eventually went to work for Deutsch LA as a director/editor to help build-out their in-house film department, and ventured into production shortly after. That experience led him to multiple agency roles, including Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Barkley, working on such brands as Taco Bell, Dr Pepper, Domino’s, American Airlines, Infiniti, Dairy Queen, and others. Within that experience, he produced work that won multiple Cannes Lions, D&AD pencils, Effies, One Show, and other leading industry awards.

Christy Hiler, owner and CEO of Cornett exclaimed.

“As the volume of large productions continues to grow, we needed a head of production that would expand our capacity and network. Damon is unbelievably detailed and absolutely fantastic to work with,” 

 

Damon credits his post-college time in Los Angeles with lighting the fire in him to tell short but impactful stories for commercial clients. The one-time beach enthusiast traded the waves for the mountains, and now calls Boulder, CO home.
