Company 3 London helped bring Sir Isaac Julien’s visionary new multi-screen film installation, All That Changes You. Metamorphosis, to life.

Currently on display at the Victoria Miro presenting the world premiere of the five-screen installation of Isaac Julien’s acclaimed film installation All That Changes You. Metamorphosis, accompanied by new photographic works. The work is accompanied by an extensive new essay by Lorenzo Giusti, Director, GAMeC, Bergamo and curator of Isaac Julien, All That Changes You. Metamorphosis, Palazzo Te. In addition, the photographic works on view feature commentary by Vladimir Seput.

The visual experience, which premiered on October 4th, 2025, at the historic Palazzo Te in Mantua where it is currently on view until May 2026 it’s 10-screen iteration. Originally commissioned to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the iconic Palazzo Te, the installation stars internationally renowned actors Sheila Atim and Gwendoline Christie as prophetic, otherworldly celestial beings. All That Changes You. Metamorphosis is a deep exploration of themes including metamorphosis, philosophy, anthropology, and ecology. The work draws powerful inspiration from Renaissance architect Giulio Romano’s masterful Palazzo Te and various literary sources.

Julien’s latest work moves between science fiction, philosophy, ecology and art, imagining new forms of life and identity beyond the human. The film visually traverses different temporalities and architectural spaces, from the 16th-century Palazzo Te to Charles Jencks’s postmodern Cosmic House in London, and the ancient Redwood National and State Parks in California. Sir Isaac Julien describes the work as a subversion of the visual hegemony dominating technological regimes of representation, creating what philosopher Judith Butler calls the "counter-imaginary."

Colour is a vital, narrative-driving element in Julien's artistic vision, conceptually linking the natural elements of water and fire with the striking Renaissance frescoes of Palazzo Te and the distinct modern interior design of Cosmic House. Senior Colourist Jean- Clément Soret worked directly with Sir Isaac Julien to take the original footage and create a cohesive flow that perfectly encapsulates the poetic and philosophical atmosphere of the piece. This is not the first time the pair have collaborated, having previously worked on Sir Issac’s acclaimed multi-screen film installations, Ten Thousand Waves and Lina Bo Bardi—A Marvellous Entanglement.

This ambitious undertaking involved a significant team effort across Company 3's London facility. The comprehensive suite of services provided included colour grading, finishing, DI (Digital Intermediate) editing, and ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement), demonstrating the company's full-service capability for complex art installations.
