Billion Dollar Boy Appoints Laura Hernando as Head of Client Partnerships UK
Apr. 09, 2026
Billion Dollar Boy, the global social agency with Creator Instinct™, has appointed Laura Hernando as Head of Client Partnerships Europe, further strengthening its client services team.
In her new role, Hernando will focus on strengthening client relationships and will work closely with Billion Dollar Boy’s 110-strong European team to deliver social-first brand building - helping clients drive long-term brand growth through creators to build future demand while also converting current demand.
Hernando joins from social and creator agency That Lot, where she was Client Services Director. With more than 17 years’ experience across leading agencies including AKQA, Lean Mean Fighting Machine, M&C Saatchi, We Are Social and Jellyfish, she brings deep expertise spanning creative, social and integrated communications.
Her appointment follows the recent leadership hires of Charlie Hurrell in a newly created role as UK Managing Director, and Piet Southey as US Managing Director, marking a continued evolution of Billion Dollar Boy’s global client partnership offering. Hernando’s role is the first senior appointment under Hurrell’s leadership, as the agency builds a next-generation client partnerships function supporting brands including Heineken, Unilever, King and PepsiCo.
Laura’s appointment also follows a year of strong growth for Billion Dollar Boy Europe, which reported a 26% year-on-year increase in client billings in 2025.
Her addition to the team further cements Billion Dollar Boy as a global leader in creator-led brand building. The agency was recently named Ad Age’s Social Media & Influencer Agency of the Year 2026 and recognised by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s 1000 fastest growing companies for an industry record sixth consecutive year.
Laura Hernando, Head of Client Partnerships Europe, commented:
“My career has always been driven by a desire to work where change is happening fastest - where new thinking challenges the status quo and raises the bar for what great marketing looks like. The fundamentals of building brands endure, but how we bring them to life is constantly evolving. Creator marketing is redefining how brands connect with people - not just what they say, but how and where those stories show up. Billion Dollar Boy is leading that shift, with work that doesn’t just capture attention, but drives brand growth. I’m excited to partner with ambitious brands, and work alongside a team that’s pushing creative standards higher every day.”
Charlie Hurrell, UK Marketing Director of Billion Dollar Boy, added:
“We are really excited about the positive impact Laura will have, given her experience in partnering with senior clients to help brands create their best work with creators - work that people actually want to watch and engage with. Laura is exactly the kind of leader we’re building this next chapter around - she combines sharp strategic and creative thinking with a genuine passion for people and partnership. As the creator economy continues to accelerate, our focus is on helping clients move faster, think bigger and unlock new levels of effectiveness. Laura will play a central role in making that happen - deepening our relationships and continuing to show what social-first creator marketing can deliver.”
