Avocados and Coconuts Celebrates the Spark of Life in Onvida Health Campaign
May. 14, 2026
Creative production agency Avocados and Coconuts produced “Here’s to Life,” a three-spot campaign for Onvida Health, a leading not-for-profit hospital system serving Yuma County and southwestern Arizona. Created by ad agency Bosun and directed by Jessie Zinn, the campaign showcases how Onvida Health is a true community partner, providing advanced patient-centered care, from emergency and primary care to behavioral health. The regional spots were created in :30 English and Spanish versions for broadcast, as well as :30, :15, and :06 OTT versions.
The first spot, “In A Flash,” highlights Onvida Health’s walk-in clinics and Emergency Departments through the story of a young woman’s bike accident. “Every day starts with endless possibilities,” says the voiceover, but in a flash, “an accident can change everything.” After receiving hands-on care at Onvida Health’s emergency department, she’s back on her bike in time for a twilight ride with friends. “Here’s to your spark for adventure,” concludes the voiceover. “Here’s to life.”
“A Spark Through Generations,” which features Onvida Health’s primary care services, and “When Light Breaks In,” focused on its behavioral health services, will air later this year.
Rebecca Larson, Director of Marketing at Onvida Health said:
"This campaign means so much to us because it reflects who we are at our core. You can see, feel, and hear the connection to Yuma County in every frame. Bosun and Avocados and Coconuts beautifully captured the moments, the people, and the care that define Onvida Health and the community we’re honored to serve."
Simon Candy, Executive Creative Director at Bosun added:
"Jessie and the Avocados and Coconuts team were dream collaborators in beautifully crafting Bosun's concept. Celebrating the light within each of us and the importance of real connection with Yuma’s people, landscape, and culture."
Zinn said:
"What I love most about this campaign is the simplicity of its guiding idea: the spark of life. It’s such a powerful way of thinking about healthcare because it reminds us that we are not just talking about medicine or procedures, but about presence, resilience, and connection."
Zinn says the goal was to move away from the clichés of a “typical” healthcare commercial. This meant focusing on authentic connections to Yuma beyond the traditional hospital setting and rooting the campaign’s casting and locations in the real communities that Onvida Health serves during a three-day shoot across multiple locations.
Dalia Burde, Avocados and Coconuts Founder/Executive Producer concluded:
"Shooting in Yuma and leaning into the community was all part of the fun, and part of the challenge from a production standpoint as it’s a small town. The residents were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and so helpful with logistics. Making this campaign happen was a true reflection of the ‘it takes a village’ approach."
