Atlassian and Zach Woods Debut "It's a Team Changer" - A Bold, Funny Take on Teamwork for the AI Era
Nov. 17, 2025
Atlassian is redefining what B2B marketing can be with the launch of "It’s a Team Changer," a new campaign starring actor and comedian Zach Woods (Silicon Valley, The Office). Developed in partnership with production company Epoch and directed by Phil Morrison, this campaign is the latest in Atlassian’s bold approach to B2B marketing that pushes boundaries with unexpected storytelling, humor, and inventive campaign elements. This is also the second time we’ve chosen to partner with Zach to illustrate how Atlassian’s products make teamwork work better.
Forget dry enterprise ads. The hero video puts Zach front and center as the ultimate "Team Changer," using his signature wit to poke fun at the chaos of modern teamwork. The message? Atlassian’s Teamwork Collection - powered by AI and built with Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Rovo - cuts through the noise, connects teams, and helps ideas move at the speed of culture.
Why does this matter?
- 93% of executives feel their teams could deliver similar outcomes in half the time if they could collaborate more effectively.
- Over half of leaders say at least 75% of team questions are about information that already exists, but is hard to find.
- Teams waste 25% of the workweek just searching for information.
Atlassian’s campaign flips the script: change isn’t scary, it’s empowering. By breaking down silos and connecting creative minds, Atlassian helps teams spend less time hunting for answers and more time launching standout work. “It’s a Team Changer” is live now across YouTube, LinkedIn, and other media buys.
On directing the film, Phil Morrison said:
"This was the second round working with Atlassian and Zach, so I knew it would be a happy time. All these people are very sane and down-to-earth, but with the ability to think like those who aren’t. The scripts were so good to begin with, and made a great foundation for Zach’s bonkers ultra-literate sometimes profane semi-sequiturs. What Atlassian actually does remains a bit over my head, but thanks to Jamie, Rob, Holly, Heather, and the team, I understood enough to stumble through the scenes.”
