Jul. 11, 2023

Alexander Nagel assumes the newly created position of Managing Director at Serviceplan Make, taking responsibility for the creative product of Serviceplan Group’s global production unit. He joins the leadership team alongside Kieve Ducharme (responsible for Global Growth), Timo Wolf (Clients & Services), Nastuh Abootalebi (Innovation & Operations), and Maik Schmidt (Curation), and reports to CCO Serviceplan Germany, Till Diestel.

Nagel held the position of Creative Managing Director at Serviceplan Campaign in Munich since July 2017, and now joins the leadership team of Serviceplan Make as Managing Director.

Nagel has worked with the Serviceplan Group for 18 years, during which time he climbed the ranks from Junior Art Director to Creative Managing Director at Serviceplan Campaign in Munich, and now becomes Managing Director of Serviceplan Make. Nagel worked alongside Christoph Everke and Michael Jaeger at Serviceplan Make, where he was responsible for clients such as Fressnapf, PENNY, Ehrmann, o2, and Kindernothilfe, and won numerous awards, including three Grand Prix at Cannes Lions for the Austria Solar Annual Report, Auchan Selfscan Report, and the PENNY Christmas film "The Wish”.

Nagel's task will be to further enhance the creative product of Serviceplan Make, whether it's "crafted content" or "content at scale," and ensure optimal collaboration with the Serviceplan creative agencies.

Till Diestel, CCO Serviceplan Germany, stated:

"I have known Alexander for a long time - not only as an award-winning creative but also as a fantastic person. That's why I am particularly pleased that he is taking on this newly created role at Serviceplan Make. Alex understands the importance of excellence in craft. And only when production and the creative department work in unison can we raise the bar of quality even higher."

Kieve Ducharme, COO Serviceplan Germany,added:

"With Alexander's move, we complete our offering and further enhance our creative product, to provide the best offer to our clients."

Alexander Nagel said:

"I started my career as a producer. Now, I am thrilled to combine my expertise and understanding of agencies from 18 amazing years at Serviceplan Campaign with the 'making' aspect in production. I want to actively shape innovation and, for example, integrate AI into our productions meaningfully: for creative freedom, top quality, fresh storytelling, combined with efficiency and joy."
